I haven't stayed connected to anyone in our class and I guess I feel like being a stay-at-home mom and homeschooling my legally blind son isn't what others thought I would do with my life (as if their judgment means something). But I know it is THE most important thing I could be doing with my life right now, so that is all that matters. It takes a lot of courage to be as honest as you have in this post. That is something to be proud of. Just read this post and I can identify! I haven’t stayed connected to anyone in our class and I guess I feel like being a stay-at-home mom and homeschooling my legally blind son isn’t what others thought I would do with my life (as if their judgment means something). But I know it is THE most important thing I could be doing with my life right now, so that is all that matters.

It takes a lot of courage to be as honest as you have in this post. That is something to be proud of.

WOW. I could have written this post (not as eloquently, of course) but seriously sums up how I feel/felt. I DID go to my 20 year, and the high-school Tonia came back and I left feeling unimportant and unpopular and somewhat ignored. Kudos to you for being able and willing to call it like it is and do what you needed to do. KUDOS!! wow Matt… WOW.
